I had a look at one of these phones at Carphonewarehouse and they look very
nice indeed. Has anyone bought one yet? Any comments?

Looks and feels very sexy, but, had to send 1st one back as the
vibration wouldn't work on it. It has a nice weight to it, it feels
like a small gadget that's very heavy.

However, the complete farce that I'm currently going through with
vodafone trying to get a replacement I'm seriously considering just
ditching it and getting a 6230i on Orange.

It is a very nice, stylish phone. I had to manipulate it for work
purposes. I can tell you it is a really good one, with a bright big
screen, good picture quality, 64mb internal memory, radio, mp3 player,
Bluetooth and many other things

I personnally like Nokia phones - just bought the 6230i, great phone !,
so I would recommend you should go for it :-)

I bought one recently. I am pleased with it, although it is a bit heavier
than my previous phone (8910i). However I was not after features, I just
wanted something that looked good. This was the only phone that has tempted
me away from my trusted 8910i. I have been using it for a week and its fine
the only bug bear with it is the button in the middle of the "joystck" type
configuration can be a bit awkward to press. I would try this out on a
phone in the shop, and if you feel comfortable with it then fine. Oh
yes....the battery life is very poor. I stick mine on the charge
everynight, so as to not run out of juice. As long as you do this then its
fine.

I have not tried the camera or the radio, so can not comment on the picture
quality of the camera...even if l took a picture wouldnt know if it was any
good compared to other cameras. (Why they added a camera to a phone I will
never know, it makes as much sense as adding a calculator to a TV set)

The phone also comes with a pouch to carry the phone in - not sure who is
going to use the pouch, but it makes me think that the nice metal exterior
can get scratched very easily hence Nokia including the pouch. So they can
cover there XXX incases everybody starts to complain that the phone has got
scrathed to easily, they can say "you should have used the pouch". Although
mine hasnt yet got scratched.

If you are after a phone with features, then I am sure there are better
phones on the market, that are cheaper. If your after looks then look no
further. I got mine from e2save.com, they price matched onestopphoneshop.
I didnt fancy buying anything from onestopphoneshop, after reading the
comments in here about them.

yes, i bought one, its very very nice. Only thing is, i'm so worried about
it getting scratched it, i keep it in its little suede pouch, so it does not
see light of day very much that it can be admired. Its the same as 6230i
except for the camera which is 0.5 meg against 1meg in 6230i and it doesnt
have extra memory capacity. Screen is great, very clear, and i especially
like the themes which allows you to change the wallpaper, screensaver,
ringtone etc all in one go. All the nokia usual apps are in there. Profiles,
mms, text, email, wap, radio, music player, etc etc.

I keep my mine in the pouch and keep getting asked by people if my phone
is very valuable. It does keep the stainless steel casing scratch-free
and I would recommend it. However, there isn't much to be said about the
case - it is always getting covered with dust and fluff.

There are some things about it that make it an improvement over some
Nokia phones - for example when you click send after composing a text
message, there is an option to use "recently used" numbers. I find this
very useful and it's just one addition to Nokia's excellent user interface.

I got mine from a Nokia shop on a new Vodafone contract, exactly a month
ago yesterday.
