Hi

My 3 contract is up and I want to take out a new 3 contract(weird I know but
500 anytime/xnetwork mins for bugger all). I want to keep my number but 3
won't let me port my number to a new contract.
So need to port to another provider and then back. Been told Virgin Mobile
don't charge for PAC and are user friendly. Is this true and is this the
best strategy?
Thanks

I read on VM's site, that you have to have spent£30 with them to get a PAC.
If you haven't, they'll charge you the balance to bring it up to £30. Sounds
reasonable to me.

Hi
My reaidng of their t & c 's is that you need to spend £30 to get them to
unlock the phone (sectiion5). I can't find a mention of PAC's.

My memory failed me. Thanks for putting it straight, John.

Its my understanding that Virgin will not allow you to port a number
from 3.
