Divert Delay on Vodafone - How to Set?
|
|
|
| How do I change the delay before diverting to VM on Vodafone?
It's 15 seconds at the moment but I am going to USA and have been advised
that may be too short.
I dialled VM and there is nothing on the menu that suggests I can change it.

Check the call divert menu on your handset, find the setting 'Divert on no
answer' (or similar) and change that to 30 seconds.

The usual method is
**61*<voicemail number>*<divert delay seconds>#
Use 67 for divert when busy.

it depends on the phone and the network. It does not have any effect on
some networks, and some phones do not even have that option.
Now, for voda payg, I can set it on my nokia 3120. It should be under
"call diverts" When you activate it, it will give you the option to
specify how many seconds. Then you will get a message if it was
successful or not (network does not allow it)
