Registered users of LogoManager Pro Suite can set the Line 2 functions on
request from LogoManager support.

OK, thanks for the suggestion, I'll think about that one. £25 seems a
bit much though as there is nothing on the Logomanager that isn't
covered by the Nokia suite that I am interested in EXCEPT, as you
suggest, line 2 enabling. Now, if there was secure 'Wallet' sync to PC
, then I would be interested. Also, if I could back up the Nokia
copyright ringtones, grapics and games and then erase them from my
phone to leave space for more relevant items that would be useful.

If I understand what you're looking for, you can in fact access all of the
ringtones, graphics and games in your phone in LogoManager Pro Suite (click
the 'Media Browser' option). You can also set operator logos, startup
logos, shutdown logos and other things you can't do in PC Suite.
If the wallet sync is important to you I can certainly look at that
possibility for you.

Does this mean that you can copy the Nokia copyrighted items to PC?
If so this would be useful. I would want to keep the Nokia stuff in
case I wanted to sell on the phone some time - in the meantime it just
takes up space. I am mainly interested in what I can use the phone
for rather than fancy wallpaper etc.

Well, currently I use my Palm for passwords etc. Tranferring about 60
access codes and other details by hand to the wallet is just too
labourious but copy and paste on the computer is just about
acceptable. I would have thought that others would find a 'Wallet'
sync tool useful too. It is something which the Nokia software cannot
do and therefore I would guess would be a good selling point if it
were included.
The complication, of course, is that the data in the 'Wallet' afaik
is encrypted and thus, presumably, a similar system would have to be
adopted on the PC. Perhaps not so simple a task.
Thank you for your reply!!

Yes, LogoManager Pro Suite's file manager component does not use the same
method as PC Suite to access the phone and is not subject to the same
restrictions when transferring data.

Yes, and I may be wrong, but I seem to recall the encryption is
device-specific in order to prevent the data from ever leaving the phone -
that being the point of the wallet of course :-)
