Whats mobiles provide the best clips for this sort of thing ?

i'm not condoning terrorism or anything but seeing the clips
makes you realise how useful pics on mobiles can be

Er I think he meant phones for capturing video. Watching today they had an
excellent live commentary form a woman living opposite the house in Notting
Hill where they forced the guy to come out. Sky were asking if she had a
camera phone but she didn't, although she said she was taking photographs. I
guess we'll see them soon enough.

It was also good to see that her commentary was cut at (I assume) the
request of the Police or the Sky News team when the Police got ready to get
the guy out.

I would imagine a 3G phone would be best and I can see that it won't be long
before we see live coverage on Sky via a 3G phone of an incident, even
something like the tornado in Birmingham.

To be honest, most of the video captured by 2G phones at present are total
crap when shown on a TV.
