I connect to my O2 GPRS account through my mobile from my laptop in the UK
using the login details that I would use on my phone plus a dialup 'number'
in the Windows Dialup Connection of *99***3#

I can't remember where I got this number but want to do the same through my
Virgin Sim card - anyone know the 'number' I need to put in a Windows dialup
connections setting for Virgin GPRS (obviously I got the other login details
asI use this account successfully on my phone)?

On my PDA I just use *99#
I think the APN I use is 'goto.virginmobile.uk'
