vodafone network messaging problems

Hi People,
I have noticed today that I havent been able to send any messages
properly. I use a pay as you go vodafone card, in a nokia 3310 handset. I
have setup delivery reports - and have the 'pending' status on about 4
messages I have sent today, and one last night. Its not a case of these
phones not being turned on, as i tried to send a message to myself (sad i
know!) and still get pending. Plenty of credit on the phone. I cant find
any info on the fairly useless vodafone web site. Anyone else having these
problems today?
