I'm a CPW vodafone customer, pay monthly, on trying to sign up so I can
receive the new spool icon instead of the usual text message, it says
there has been an error.

I was just wondering if this was because my account is held with cpw and
not vodafone directly?

You can sign up to Vodafone mail, via the link on the
www.vodafone.co.uk website the grey bar at the top)or
wwww.vodafone.net.

May be it's temporarily down/overloaded ??

There's a problem with Vodafone's server at the moment. It got hacked and
now some phones cannot communicate with Vodafone Live. My T630 for one. When
i put my sim into another vodafone- a Nokia, it connected fine. I sent my
phone for repair, got it back with a software update, but still no live
access. I wanted to get a new phone, but they wont let me until March. this
is the reason for me searching out this ng- are they in breach of my
contract, and why cant i buy a new phone, extend existing my current
contract?
