if you are on Vodafone. Also if you have an MP3 as a ringtone you
can't do certain voice-based things (like voice answering)

" I got a K700i (voda) and i want to have a mp3 as ringtone "

This Topic is about K700i.

I can copy an mp3 file to my vodafone K750i and use it as a ringtone,
without any packaging.

You must have an "unbranded" phone from Voda then.

Most K750i from Voda are branded and as such do not allow you to use MP3's
as ringtones (unless directly d/l from them!)

The forum quoted may be about the K700 but it gives the OP the info he needs
about DRM :)

Download "MP3 To Ringtone" at http://www.ddz1977.com/mp3trt.zip to let
your 64MB mp3 mobile support more than 60 full mp3s
