| Is there some way of sending a small jpg to someone's mobile phone from
a PC if you have their mobile telephone number and they have a Nokia
with a colour screen? So if they're not technical they can see it
easily?

| Do you mean sending the picture as a message to the phone remotely, or can
the phone and the PC be in the same room??

There are several companies who offer this service (some of them free) - You
can send any (suitable) picture from your PC to a phone as an MMS message
via their servers. Never tried it, but it looks pretty straight forward.
There is no way (that I'm aware of) of doing it by yourself without special
equipment.
Google for 'send MMS from PC' and you should find somthing useful.
Good luck,
Chris.
