I have an OVP Virgin SIM, and every couple of years I buy a new PAYG
handset to use it in - I got a cheap J300i and a message icon has
appeared on the desktop which I can't get rid of.

It's an envelope with what looks like a minus sign with a capital "A"
sitting on top of it. Looking at the manuals and quick start guides,
there is no icon listed like that, but it's closest to the cell
broadcast message icon.

Does anyone know what it is, and how I can get rid of it, or will I just
have to live with it?
