| Im getting a DNS error when ever I try to get my Pipex email on my Samsung
D500. I've made sure that the username/password, pop/smtp is setup.
Any ideas?

Use the IP addresses of the servers rather than their names.
To get the IP address open up a command prompt and ping the server eg,
ping smtp.pipex.net and this will return the IP for you.

And beware if your mail stops working, Pipex may have changed the IP
address(es) that their mail server(s) use, so if it stops working in the
future, do another ping and check the IP address hasn't changed. Unlikely,
but not out of the realms of possibility.

That'll be the trouble, then. You do not have the correct mail server name.
Refer to Pipex to find out what name you should be using.

Then the server name is wrong or pipex have some serious issues.
It might be mail.pipex.net or relay.pipex.net or .com etc. You could
always contact pipex and ask them.

and possibly smtp.dial.pipex.net. But the point made by another poster about
using Pipex' pop3 to collect mails, and the ISP he has dialled / gprsed to
to send emails is very valid.
Yes, best thing is to check.
