How to top-up in the UK with a vodafone voucher bought abroad?
|
|
|
| Bought one in Malta, didn't use it there. Tried to topup here but 'invalid
number' message. A 12-digit number is expected -- this is a 14 digit one.
Surely I must be able to topup somehow? TIA

I doubt it. You are with Vodafone UK, therefore you need Vodafone UK
vouchers.

I have successfully used Vodafone UK top-up vouchers
in Spain and vice versa. You have to call the customer
services number to do it though. They ask for the scratch
-off number and the serial number above the bar code.
The last time I used a UK one in Spain, they charged a
fee of 1 euro. Bit cheeky as they give a lousy exchange
rate to start with !

Thanks for this. I emailed Vodafone's customer services from their website.
They were very helpful and after giving them the voucher number they credited
my phone with the ukp amount.
