Hi, thinking of Vodafone-

Do vodafone make the handsets interface completly different? I have seen a
few friends phones who's phone theme has only red menu's and icons and this
can't be changed while other networks don't seem to change much?

Also, do vodafone force one of the soft keys to be Vodafone Live! or do they
allow this to be customised?

If all these things are restricted it's a bit of a disadvantage to Vodafone.

Thanks in advance.

(I'm thinking of a Nokia)

Both my brother and I have Nokia 6680s on Vodofone. His handset is
restricted to Vodafone but mine is not. His has the Vodafone logo on
the screen (instead of the "Vodafone UK" as it on mine (as the newtork
indentifier)) But apart from that and his Vodafone screensaver that
comes on, there is no difference....

It really depends on the handset. What handset are you thinking of?

I had thought of a Nokia 6680, but heard a few bad reports about it, so I
think i'll wait and see what the 6111 will be like.
