Hi

I have just bought a new 3G phone. It is a Samsung Z140V (I think the V
just means it has Vodafone customised software) on a Vodafone PAYT tariff.
I have played with it a bit and it looks to be a very nice phone except for
one issue.

Whenever I try video streaming, eg watching the news clips on the Vodafone
Live! pages, I get very poor quality images and sound. The picture breaks
up every few seconds, pixelates and then misses a second or two to catch up
and then it goes into "Buffering" mode, etc. All in all it is completely
unwatchable. At first, I thought it was because I was in a poor signal
area, but I have now gone out of my way to find a strong 3G signal and it is
just the same.

I have taken it into a Vodafone shop and the sales person agreed that it was
not working correctly. He showed me his phone which displayed the same clip
perfectly.

I have phoned Vodafone customer services and they told me that it is a
recognised issue with this new phone and that their technical team are
working on it but, as yet, they had no information on when , how, or if it
would be fixed.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem? Does anyone have any further
information.

I need to decide whether I am going to keep this phone before Vodafone's 14
days money back guarantee runs out.

Thanks in advance for any help.
