Blackberry on O2 monthly sim-only contact?
|

| I have a =A310pm sim-only monthly contract with O2 which has now
expired. I called about getting an upgrade to stay and said I wanted a
Blackberry (even with an upgrade fee) but was told that my account
'wasn't compatible' with a Blackberry and I would have to move to a
=A335pm account.
This puzzles me as I can currently pick up emails OK using my T610. I
only want the Blackberry to collect and send emails. I don't currently
send emails from my T610 - not sure if I can?
Is what O2 says true or are they just trying to talk me into a =A335 pm
account (which there's no way I need!)
Thanks.

AFAIK, you can have O2's unlimited mail option added to any tariff for
an additional £15 per month inc VAT.
