Author Watchdog and Red phones?

Missus mentioned that there was something on Watchdog about the Motorola
Red phones and customer dissatisfaction.

The Watchdog site is as useful as a chocolate tea pot, so did anyone
else catch this?

TBH, my (RED) SLVR is a significant improvement on Motorola phones of
old; shame it can't pick up a signal unless I'm stood in the middle of
the road outside of my house.

It's a feature, not a fault.

I didn't see the Watchdog article specifically about the Moto Red.
However, I'd given up on Motorola about 6 years ago -- their phones
where ugly and clunky in comparison to Nokia and I'd been a Motorola
die-hard until about 12 months ago. I've got a L6 and V3x now, had no
problems with them and much prefer them to the Nokia's.

Your best bet is to go to a shop and try a few out.

You can't really 'try them out' in the shop, not sure where you are from
but shop in the uk dont permit calls.
A friend has a motorola and has the same reception problems as above.
Thanks anyway

I've made a few test calls in shops before (and I am based in the UK)
-- although it has only ever been in branded shops (e.g. O2 shop,
Orange shop etc).
