BT Fusion text message problem when connected via Bluetooth

There isn't much on t'internet about BT Fusion so I thought I'd post
here.

I have a Motorola RAZR on BT Fusion.

It 'roams' on to my home Bluetooth network as normal so can make and
receive calls at home and via GSM when out of range but I have a real
problem with sending text messages.

In order to send text messages (most of the time) when connected to
the Bluetooth network at home I have to turn the phone to 'BT Mobile
Only' in the BT Network Settings area. I haven't discussed this with
BT as yet, but does anyone else on BT Fusion have the same kind of
problems?
