er...

Who/what package is currently best for 200ish mins calling & wap/net on
the phone?

Texts dont matter as I do them online,

and about 200 mins inc Xnetwork.

Not orange as I am still recovering from their 3G/CS.

I dont know the amount I will use - but i would guess not less than 20
meg.

Also - preferably a phone with WiFi - so I can check email in bed!

Thanks in advance.

Thanks

Funnily you have said the exact package and phones that I had been
thinking about. One2one had also said you stay on the 16 a month from
the end 18 months.

The MDA Pro despite having an excellent 640x480 screen looked a bit big
to carry about I could not help thinking you would look a prat holding
it to your ear!

The vario looks an OK size and the screen is bigger than the screen on
the s750 orange stuck me with for a year with 50 meg a month that it
could not access. So it was a great screen, just sadly on the worst
phone with the worst battery life I have owned (out of about 15-20 from
1997).

I also saw there was a cashback deal that worked out at 380 for the
year, but was on the package that you were not charged excessively for
contacting customer support, although that leaves the chance of being
stiffed if they go broke or start spouting excuses to avoid cashback.

I had also seen an ad saying O2 were doing 75 meg for 17.50 but cannot
find it anywhere now, has anyone any ideas?

That was exactly the package I was looking at and had spoken to the
shop already - and they had said call them at normal costs if i wanted
to use customer services, or just pop into the shop. I had thought
about the W&W400 too as I am ending my other accounts with orange bar
the ED50/OVP virgin as it is what finances the free web texts, but it
was only 9 months at the reduced rate and the data was the same volume.

However with a s750 it has been a bad year, and at a max of five pounds
a call to OCS the calls would have cost more than the 360 pounds for
the contract. I was on to them for over 15 mins tonight without a
reply before I got tired waiting and went out.

I keep thinking about the MDA pro though. Fair enough its massive but
a 640x480 screen was what i was using as programmer 14 years ago - but
it would work happily with a bluetooth headset - its just a pity
headsets dont have small numberpads too! Also I believe they take SD
cards which are now up to 4 gig and 2 gig at OK prices - and I
currently have a 512meg one I bought for the s750 as it was the only
way of getting pictures out the bloody phone.

Has anyone any good or bad comments about them?

Also - I had also read the MDA vario was 802.11g capable but was set to
802.11b to stop pissing on the 'pros parade, does anyone know if this
is true too? Its largely irrelevant justnow, but I have an 8 meg
connection now - and in a rather long 18 month contract - I think 100
meg is likely - as the block next to me has been upped to 22 meg
already.

Dave
looked on the T mobile website but cannot see
"Note however, their website is saying that the half price offers end
on
28th Feb 2006, so you have to apply before 1st March to be eligable for

their current deal. "

am i looking in the wrong place.
