The man from 3 was on the news saying he was annoyed at phones and SIMs
being split and phones sold abroad. Some evil people were dicerting them
away from the UK network and losing them revenue. So this is an attempt to
stop it. It would be easier to tie the SIM to the phone like they used to
be on some BT Cellnet phones.
Apparently customers prefer SIM cards to be glued in place, god knows why.
They are fairly easy to remove with superglue remover! Squirt it in and
leave it for a few minutes.
