Thanks for that Sean.

So, I can compose an sms text message one evening, and set it to be sent the
following morning? Is that right?

Well, you have to sign up, and add credit.. You can then set it to send
at anytime in next few days

I have been using www.vgsmail.com for a couple of years and the service
is good.

4.2p a text including international and take take credits from ED50,
and although it costs as a text to get a received message - you can
check online to see it it has been delivered at it gives the time too.

Sending via their wap interface takes minimal bandwidth.

Only problem with it is it will not text US mobiles and a few other
foreign ones, but only a small percentage. You are also charged
whethere delivered or not, but I think it is 6 delivery attempts it
makes before it fails.

They are currently going through phases of taking on then not taking on
new customers - but theeir service has been good.

It's a good basic service, but it does not include all uk networks. Any
other suggestions would be appreciated
