Author Cashback deals - timing of sending in statements

Just so I get this right, and don't miss the correct month for sending in my
airtime bills for a cashback deal. They say I need to send in statement for
the 4th, 8th and 12th monthly airtime bill, so if my contract starts today
(date I activiate the phone 9 March 2006), and my first statement is issued
on the 15th March, then I'll be sending in my statement dated 15th June,
15th October and 15th February? Or would that be 15th July, 15th November
or 15th March?

You do exactly what they tell you to do.

If your 1st bill is received on 15 March, then your 4th bill is 15th
June. Why would it be any different?

I'm confused because you pay for the airtime rental a month in advance, but
the calls in arrears. So in theory, it could be either, couldn't it?

Not at all - they clearly ask for your STATEMENT - that's the paper
thing which you receive in the post. Doesn't matter a damn what period
it happens to cover. You receive the first statement in March, the
fourth in June. Bit of a no-brainer?

The cashback thing seemed clear to me as well until I talked to a guy on
the cashback line at CPW.

Contract started mid March, first statement received mid March so the "4th
Airtime Bill" would seem to be the June one. According to CPW I should send
the July one ...
