| Can the Nokia 6280 be used on an Orange PAYG sim card or does it need
unlocking?
I've seen lots on ebay but they're mostly on 3 - will this work on Orange?
Thanks

You will need to contact the operaror (3) to get the handset unlocked

In a moment of madness, I requested 3 unlock my now redundant NECe616,
which I'm going to keep as a spare. 3 charge £15, but I understand that
to complete the process you need a 'live' 3 sim in the phone. When I
told 3 technical support that I might not have a sim, they simply said
to go one of their high street re-seller's, explain what you're doing
and they should lend you one to use in-store.
I do now have a sim and the unlocking is supposed to happen tomorrow;
for some reason it takes a week to set up.
