On Saturday I arranged to port my number from Orange to Vodafone, but
the port day was given as April 3rd, when I am off to belgium. Salesman
advised me to call on the morning and try to get it done early.
Phone arrived today, so I rang the number given, to be told it can't be
done sooner, so I have had to settle for the following week.
HOWEVER, the techie advised me to call the same number when the phone
arrives, because they do not record the EMEI number of the phone, or the
Serial Number of the SIM, before despatch.
As they also omitted to tell me to ring them with this info, my port
would have failed!

I think not:

Dr Benjamin Spock - American paediatrician.

Yup. Father: Sarek, a Vulcan. Mother: Amanda, human.
