Author Porting from 3 to Virgin PAYG question

I notice that Virgin PAYG sims are around £5 including a £5 call credit -
if I buy one and port my existing 3 number to the new sim - how quickly
will Virgin give me a PAC code to port back to 3 ? Will I have to top up
the Virgin SIM over and above the £5 call allowance provided to get a PAC.

Any info appreciated.

Thanks

Why no contact Virgin ? They do have a website and answer emails fairly
quickly. That way you will get the correct info. There were Virgin SIMs
with £5 credit bing given away three times this month. Don't be paying!
