OK, two questions.
How can a datacard be unlocked from it's network (so that any SIM will
work in it)?

Once achieved, can this internet connection be shared between computers
(networked)?

I'm trying to get a broadband type service that I can share between my
home PC and laptop, yet take it on the road with me when I travel.

Thnx
Danz.

With hyperterminal, the AT commands and the correct unlocking code.

Probably, but it would be hideously slow.

Even the fastest mobile connections don't come anywhere near to
broadband speeds, not to mention the latency. Prepare to be
disappointed.
