I recently acquired a large number of (Virgin) SIM's, all with around a
fiver of credit on them. Is there a way of combining all the credit onto
one card?

have you tried foning them and asking(best of 3)

they refused to transfer the initial 5 pounds credit on the card.
but they seem happy to transfer credit from your topups around.
