Author Is it the phone or the sim card?

Having problems calling my wife on her LG880 mobile (Three Network). Nine
times out of ten through to her voice mail.

Two other Three mobiles in our family and no problems ever.

Three had her phone back and updated the software but still same problem.

Does this sound like the phone or could it be something to do with the sim
card?

Three have offered a replacement Nokia 6680 which she doesn't want or a
repair as they have no LG880's to offer. Will a repair solve this problem?

Not sure... have you tried the sim in one of the other phones you have
?
Have you tried the sim from one of the other phones in your wifes
handset ?

If they know what is wrong with the handset, then repairing it should
solve it.

The answer to your question is so obvious that I can't believe you
haven't realised it yourself, so there must be some complication you
didn't mention.

All you have to do is swap sim cards with another phone, and see if
the problem stays with the handset or with the sim card.

Why didn't you do that instead of asking here?

You don't need my permission, but thinking for yourself is a really
neat idea.
