Yes they will, for £20. No it will not affect warranty.
I have done this several times. I am to get a new phone on Wednesday
this week. They said to call them when it is delivered and give them
the IMEI. I always tell them I need to use it abroad a lot and have
sim card local to the country I am in. Not even sure if this is
necessary 9to exp[lain why you want it unlocked).
Depending on how new a model the phone is you may have to wait up to a
week for them to send you the code.
My last one arrived via email after 4 working days.
Vodafone do the same thing. I am waiting for the unlock code for a N91
which they said should be emailed to me by the end of the week.
Again it does not affect the warranty.
