I've just had my K750 repaired by the carphone warehouse twice this
year already for the same fault. The first time they had my phone for
2 weeks, then less than 2 months later they had it again for 3 weeks.
I'll not be keeping my contract with them when it expires. I had a
K700 that developed exactly the same fault (The joystick stopped going
up and left) when I was with Vodafone and they came to my house and
swapped the handset for a refurbished model a few days after reporting
it.
I'm tempted to swtich from Sony Ericssons next time as the build
quality is very poor. As much as I love the phones they're just not
reliable enough. I just got my lass a V600 to replace her K500 which
had joystick & keypad problems. The V600 started having intermittent
problems with the joystick at just 3 months old too.
We don't play games, so it's not as if we hammer the joysticks or
anything. I emailed SE mentioning the problems we'd had with their
phones and all they said was for me to send the K750 back for repair.
No appologies or even excuses. I hate that.
