My K750i is over a year old and does have problems occassionally with the
joystick, but then do most phones with exposed joysticks, such as my other
phone, the i-mate SP5.
If it does stop working I tap the back to dislodge the fluff, dust and crap
that can get into the joystick from your pocket etc or failing that spray
some compressed air down it...
