| I bought this 'phone this year sometime but I cannot remember if I
bought it from Orange or Amazon. I am now trying to register it with
the sim card it came with. I mainly want to use this phone as an MP3
player but I have lost the CD that came with it. Can I proceed without
the CD? If not where can I get one?

Thanks Tim. I have to wait until Orange validate the sim now. It is
taking a long time for the text to arrive. Life is so complicated
these days with PIN numbers etc. I already have 3 other Orange phones
but I cannot remember the mail addy I used when registering any of
them even if I did register them:-(

Although you don't need to - simply copy MP3 files onto the memory stick
(assuming you have a card reader) and they will work fine too.

I don't even know what a card reader is:-( I have a spare memory card
with the 'phone though. This is very much a spare 'phone and I will
just be using it as MP3 player once I get it working.

Something like this:
http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Comp...productId=23900
(You can get them from PC World/Currys etc too).
You can then take the card out of the phone, pop it in the reader (using the
adapter that comes with the phone) and you can copy stuff off and on it
easily. Just shows up as another drive letter in Windows.

Thanks to the link Tim posted I have now managed to load music track.
I need a MMC-70 cable now to link it to my car radio. That should be
arriving any day now. There is some free downloads for this a Sony
Ericsson and I am very much taken with google maps and a GPS card. I
would dearly like to turn the phone into a small Satnav system. I
doubt I shall ever use it for making phone calls as it is so small I
have trouble seeing the numbers even with my reading glasses.
