With my mobile in my pocket I walked into a corner of a table and Ihave
broken it! The glass screen is fine but the display screen under is all
crazed and wondered if this is easy to get repaired and what the likely cost
would be?

Thanks for the tip. Any idea how long, or how hard, the repair would be?

It's not the easiest screen to replace. dismantling the handset can be a
litle tricky. There are dismantle instructions for the 6280 at the
UselessInfo site in my sig if that's any help.

I think I will take it to the local repair shop and see what the cost will
be. Any idea what it is likely to be?

I ended up ringing some who I found on the Internet but all worked out
around £45. Tried my local independent who carried the spares and who did it
in five minutes while I waited.
