Got an e-mail at end of October to tell me my first Cashback payment
would be received on or around the 16th November .I called them two
days ago to confirm with them that it had been issued and they said it
was sent to my bank account on the 16th .Today it still had not
appeared in my account so I queried it again . I get this in reply

Dear Sir,

It's with great regret to inform you that your cash back payment will
be delayed. Our bank have been experiencing problems with the release
of payments.

This fortunately has now been rectified. Your payment will now be in
your bank account by the 27th November.

Our apologies for any inconvenience this delay may have caused you.

Kind regards
Customer Services
Rebates.

So they didn't know this two days ago didn't they ????

Anyone else using this company . Sounds like the similar shit I got
from mobileshop.com when I had to accept an Argos voucher for my final
payment .

Good luck getting your money back Stuart, it seems to be
getting increasingly difficult to get money from these
companies nowadays, you must be very organised though because
of all the cash back companies out there I think
buymobilephones.net have got the strictest of guidelines.

phoneboxdirect/Coolnewmobile/Phones2yourdoor has gone bust, because
they were making more cashbacks thna planned. Maybe it is likely that
other cashback retailers are in similar positions?

Offers are drying up.

If you follow their instructions to the letter, then you should be OK.

I've just had confirmation that my fourth cashback has been received and
accepted.

best you can hope for is to persuade your service provider to move you to a
cheaper tarrif.

I got the same message, about the payment that should have been paid by
Bacs into my account by 16th Nov, to arrive no later than 2 working days
later. I emailed them 2 days ago, and got a reply the same day (the
same one you've posted above about the 27th instead). We've already
lost out with a cashback company that's gone bankrupt...and this is
exactly what they also did at first....drag out the payments while they
see whether they're going bust. I'm not convinced we'll see our money
with buymobilephones, but I've got my fingers crossed. Unfort this was
the first cashback claim of mine...I'd be £530 down if I lost the whole
thing. With the other company, the mobile phone provider decided to
help out, and reduce the monthly payments for same tarriff to £5 for the
length of the contract instead of £30. I'd be interested to see if my
mobile provider will do the same if likewise happens.

Thank goodness for that. I just came on here after checking my
statement, and the =A3105 is in my account too. Hopefully we won't have
further problems in future :)

I've had a payment from them just last week. It's been quite easy to
claim IMO after the initial period of studying the terms and
conditions. I just pop the claim in the post and it's always been in
my bank account within 2 months.
