| My young niece (15yrs) has an Orange Pay As You Go mobile.
Some weeks ago, she followed the instructions on a Love Calculator website
in which she was told that if she gave her name and mobile number, she would
be sent a text
to say how compatible she was to the boy of her dreams. The site was clearly

educated!) at how much that text message cost since there was no indication
of that on the website.

But since then, she has received numerous texts from this address telling
her to phone a particular number. She deletes each message without phoning
the number but each time she receives one, £1.50 is deducted from her credit
(which was never very high). There are no instructions in the message about
how to stop them arriving.
They seem to arrive soon after she tops up and only stop when her credit is
used up. Her phone has become virtually useless which is a big worry. Is
there nothing she can do?
