Author Motorola F3 - Does it have a reminder bleep for SMS received?

I am looking to buy a cheap handset just for receiving SMS when
abroad. I always miss the arrival and forget to check. Older Motorola
phones had a 'reminder' bleep, maybe every 5 ot 10 mins after a text
message had been received, until it was read.

Does anyone know if the Motorola F3 has the same facility?

Thanks,

Ed.

The motorola F3 is an abomination with the worst user interface I've
ever seen.

It reminds me of a compilation of games I had for my 48k spectrum. It
was called "Don't buy this" and was described as being a collection of
the worst games ever written for the spectrum.

After I had purchased it with my pocket money I really wished I hadn't.
The Motorola F3 evokes similar reactions from my customers.

I have to disagree, I got one about a year ago and for ME it's ideal. All I
WANT from a mobile is the ability to make/receive phone calls & texts and
an alarm clock for occasional use. What I NEED is a clear display that I
can read in any lighting conditions without the need to put my glasses on.
The f3 does all that I want and need.
Sure, for anyone who wants/needs camera, video, music, internet etc it would
be an "abomination" but for someone with basic needs the opposite is true
of fully featured phones, I personally find my wife's "all singing, all
dancing" Sony Ericsson to be an abomination - each to their own.

To answer the OP, no - it doesn't have a reminder - just one alert when the
text arrives and that's it.
