| Just lost service. Phoned my number from landline and got fault signal
instead of voicemail, so called O2 customer service:
"Are you calling from the South of England"
"Yes"
"We have a major network fault ... top priority ... should be fixed soon"
Does this mean half the country is out of service?! Anyone know anything
more?

I've been out in Birmingham, but it's back now. 3G doesn't seem to be
present yet.

Second thoughts, maybe it wasn't out for me.
Third thoughts, maybe it is. I just returned to my phone at half eight.
Noticed I had no signal. The phone kept trying to go into 3G, half a
splutter, no signal, so returns to to 2G.
Never seen that before. Interesting.
Just rebooting.
Still don't seem to have 3G....
Wonder if it's linked anyhoo?

I'm in Bristol too.. spent nearly an hour trying to get through to the
helpdesk. But nobody at O2 thought of putting a message on the stupid
multiple choice recorded service to tell us there was a problem and they
were dealing with it. Not happy that we are being kept in the dark about
this..
