Author Problems porting a number from 3 network to Orange

Hi

Please can someone provide me with some advice on this matter? I have
just moved over from the 3 network to Orange, however, Orange have
been unable to port my number over correctly (even though I provided
them with a valid PAC code, it does not work). Having spoken to Orange
again, they came up with the explanation that the problem is on the T-
Mobile network (this is where the number originally came from prior
to moving onto 3 network and then joining Orange)Unbelievable!

Does this explanation from Orange seem plausible or are they pulling
the wool over my eyes or if the problem may still be with 3 (my 3 sim
card has disconnected, so this may explain that the problem may be
with Orange) .Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks
sqm :-)

I stand to be corrected but I think T-Mobile set up the diverts. So that
they as the original owners of your number will be changing the divert from
3 to Orange, if it has gone wrong then it is likely with them. I think all 3
do is give authority for a transfer to happen, Orange then have to advise
the new details.

It's not unbelievable, it's highly probable.

Not really much you can do except keep on at Orange, although if other
networks are involved it may be out of their hands to a degree.
