I saw something earlier today about O2 offering =A395 call credit NOT to=20
upgrade your phone - might be worth waiting until nearer the end of=20
the contract. It was supposed to come in next month sometime.

ades/
"O2 said today it will give customers =A395 call credit and donate =A310=20
to the Energy Saving Trust (EST) charity if they agree to keep their=20
current handset for at least a year longer. Punters can also opt for=20
=A3100 credit, but no money will go to the EST.
New customers who just buy a SIM to use in their old handset will=20
trigger a =A35 donation to the EST. Anyone who signs up for the O2=20
Energy Saver deal will get a new contract. These options will be=20
offered to punters from 28 April."

if it's a upgrade she'll renew her contact on the same provider and it
most likely be will be direct from o2.
if she switched supplier it's likely to be a new contract and that
will probably be from CPW.
Usually you'll get a better deal switching suppliers, than staying
with your old one.

I was thinking that, but o2 offered me 500 mins+500 txts for =A310 p/m!
+ free k800i!
cpw bills her - so im prone to think that she can only upgrade thru cpw
