O2 are simply the worst network out there.

I have been on all networks and none have treated me so badly as O2
have.

They have the WORST customer service I have ever encountered.

I have to disagre, i have been with o2 for 8 years, 5 as a payg
customer and 5 as a pay monthly customer and i have had nothing but
great service, great deals and better still - i have been getting
newer phones and cheaper bills year after year! O2 are the best
network out there! orange always overcharged me on my line rental,
Tmobile - well they just suck completely. Not been on voda and i dont
ever intend to!

I had the best and quickest service from them of all the places the
other month. Top score from me for a change.

It's really down to individual experiences. Call centre jobs are often low
paid and stressful causing high turnover and inevitably lower quality of
service. No matter what the company, none will be perfect.

I've been with O2 for a few years, never had a complaint. Moved to Orange
shortly after (I go where the cashback takes me) and had terrible service
for a while over a misspelt address. Wrong address caused bills to not
reach me and the only way I got it fixed was doing it myself on the Orange
website. I got duplicate bills sent out which I was charged for and when I
spoke to someone to get the charges refunded one agent seemed to suggest
the wrong address problem was all in my head.

On my second Orange contract and been fine so far.

For all we know you might be the WORST customer. It is always interesting
to hear BOTH sides of a story. I don't know anyone that has had trouble
with o2.

OK - O2 have managed to redeem themselves.

I spoke to Customer Services and they overturned
the decision by the local manager (who had told
me he had contacted head office for guidance),
and they have allowed me to exchange the phone.

What the manager in the store was playing at I have no idea...
