I'm not with Vodafone myself, but this seems very good value, not seen
it before.

http://online.vodafone.co.uk/dispat...pageID=PPP_0039

Unlimited calls between four people.

One person pays just £5 a month for unlimited calls (up to 60 minutes a
call) between four people
You can make these calls at any time of the day or night
Vodafone Family is available to both pay as you talk and pay monthly
customers
If you need a larger group, one person can pay £7 a month for unlimited
calls between 6 people
You can change the size or makeup of your family group online or over
the phone - free of charge

Once the four people have been set up, you only need to pay the one £5
each month and all four of you can call any of the others on the list
for free. Sounds good to me.

Split the fee between the four of you and it's £1.25 each per month.
(Though it's the one person who has to pay for it).

Seems a bargain.

Orange do the same thing for up to 8 people (4 PAYM and 4 PAYG) and it's
free. It's called Your Group.

Maybe, but cheaper elsewhere.

Also worth noting that the Orange offer does not have a 60-minute cap on
calls between group members either.

The little bit I read was a little confusing, looked like you had to pay
for everyones bills / calls outside the included ones, that can't be
right can it?

Not quite sure what you mean, but in a nutshell all group members can
call all other group members for free. The "group" has to be one Orange
account, I.e. one account holder.

Right, so all members on that 'group' just have the one bill paid for by
the group owner. For example any calls made by others outside the free
calls all have to be paid by the account 'group' owner.

With the Vodafone one. Each member - friend or family simply pay their
own bills (or PAYG credit), but one person can pay the £5 per month for
all the group to have the free calls between them. This way the person
who pays the £5 doesn't end up with paying the other 3 persons bills for
calls not between each other.

That's right. Typically a "group" would be a family, a couple or a group
of students who've just moved into the same house and set up a joint
bank account into which they each pay x amount per month, so there is no
problem with one of them being solely responsible.

http://www1.orange.co.uk/service_pl...p_overview.html

also other problem with the orange one is that one person need to be a
contract whereas the vodafone can all be pay as u go so if all you
calling is each other than vodafone will work out cheaper per month in
line rental.

Orange have onpay asyou go speakeasy nominate upto 3 numbers and only
pay for 1 minute (but need to topup =A310 a month)
