Hi

I have just had a delightful conversation querying the fact that I was
charged £15.60 for 7.82mb of GPRS earlier this month with a Vodafone call
centre operator who informed me that their new data charges were you were
charged for 15mb but if you used more than that they knocked the charges for
0.5mb to 15mb out and thus 14.999mb would cost £29.99 but if you hit 15mb it
would be reduced to £1... having pointed out how that sounded rather
unlikely even for them she went away and checked and had to back track
rather and apologies and promise a adjusting credit.

Out of curiosity is there any sort of list of what or how Vodafone deem
banned peer-to-peer traffic, my usage that day was partly IPSEC as I was on
a course and needed to check my corporate email and also some standard web
browsing, they sight the following a banned usage and we don't permit VoIP,
instant messaging or P2P file transfer on our corporate laptops. I did
exactly the same when I was out during June to check my mail and that was
fine and charged at the capped £1 for 1.2mb of IPSEC usage.

Regards
Chris
