Not that I noticed. You're not trying to use 3G where it's marginal, are
you? That screws things nicely and is solved by telling your phone to only
use GSM/GPRS. Then you have to remember to swap back later when you're back
with good coverage.

Truphone screwed everything up. Had to fiddle for hours to get it working
again.

Better still, leave the phone on GSM only until you want to use the
'net, switch to 3G then switch back when you're done. I can't vouch for
other handsets but on my k800i this extends the per-charge battery life
by a very significant amount.

FWIW I'm not seeing any connection problems on Web 'n' Walk plus.

For many things the throughput of GPRS is adequate, I can even use the
Google Maps application without much delay. It's certainly good enough for
email, although that tends to be a background thing anyway. Given that
where I live has no 3G coverage, and where I work has marginal 3G coverage
that doesn't work for 90% of the time, I tend to have 3G switched off all
the time.
