In a nutshell, Quadband means the phone 'supports' all four of the GSM (2G)
frequencies that are used round the world.(850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz)
A 3G phone uses a totally different system (called UTMS).
A phone that supports 3G MAY also be Quadband on the GSM system, but not
necessarily...
