Anyone know if the 3G mobile offerings will allow VPNs? The operators
terms say you can't use the broadband for VOIP, but I can't see they can
block VOIP through a VPN.


Also will the modems work in the USA?

Mine on Vodafone works both for VPN (Client) & VoIP - very laggy on
VoIP but useable.

I hope you're not meaning that the VPN server is to be on the PC
connected to the 3G device...?

I tunnel everything through my HSDPA connection no probs. Allows me to
run all the stuff I'm not supposed to run.

Usually I do VoIP through my WiFi connection though with no SIM card in
the phone just coz I can.
