Author A possible scam.

I sometimes receive missed calls with it ringing for only a single go.
The most recent event, just this evening, is from a Gambian number. My
telephone reports the originating number of the latest incident as being
002207228381.

Is this some sort of scam which will try and have me call back? I never
had such calls before I moved to the '3' network a couple of months ago
(but taking my old number with me, of course) and am naturally
concerned, considering that 3 exports my data for processing in a
developing country without data protection laws so stringent as ours.

Any comments?
